Wearables
Most of what happens to a client happens between visits. When a client connects a wearable, such as an Apple Watch, Oura ring, Whoop, Garmin or a continuous glucose monitor, their daily sleep, heart rate, activity and glucose flow into Ready Practice on their own. You see the trend on their profile, Atlas can reason about it, and their app shows them the same picture.
There is nothing for your organization to connect. Connecting a device is always the client's decision, made from their app, and they can disconnect at any time.
How a client connects
In the client app, the client opens their health or profile section, chooses to connect a device, picks the brand, and signs in to that brand's account. Historical data backfills within minutes and new days arrive on their own. Some devices report through the phone's own health app instead; the client grants that permission once in the phone's health settings. The Wearables & Health Data page shows the client-side steps and what each device provides.
What you see
On the client's Home tab: sleep, steps, heart rate, recovery and glucose as trends. Ask Atlas "how did Jordan sleep this week?" or "who has not moved much this week?" and it reads the same data. Check-ins the client answers in the app appear alongside.
The client grants access to their own device data, and they can revoke it from their app. Ready Practice never connects a device on someone's behalf.
Next steps
- Turn data into a plan: protocols set activity and sleep targets the app tracks against this data.
- Tell clients how: the client app page has the steps you can send them.
