What's New — September 3

✨ New

Client details now fill in automatically — When a client enters information like date of birth, phone, gender, address, or insurance on an intake form, it now flows straight into their profile — no re-typing needed by staff.

Home Location on client profiles — You can now set and edit a client's home location directly from their profile, keeping multi-location records accurate.

Clearer claims performance at a glance — The Billing page now includes a Billing Performance card and a payer-by-payer scorecard, showing first-pass acceptance, denial rate, average time to pay, and collected vs. expected — all in one place.

Underpayment alerts on claims — Ready Practice now compares each claim's expected payment, based on your clinic's own payer history, against what was actually paid, and flags underpayments so nothing slips through unnoticed.

Itemized, branded settlement receipts — When you settle a client's balance, the transaction now shows a clear breakdown of charges and discounts instead of a bare "Payment" line, and receipts reflect your clinic's branding.

More flexible balance discounts — When discounting a client's balance, choose a flat dollar amount or a percentage of their open balance, with a live preview of the total before you save.

⚡ Improved

Client emails always come from your clinic's brand — Appointment reminders, receipts, sign-in codes, and other client emails now consistently send from your clinic's own verified address instead of the platform default.

More accurate claim statuses — Claims that were being mislabeled — like normal in-network payments showing as "partially paid" — now display correctly, and claims in less-common statuses no longer disappear from your billing view.

Smoother scheduling communications — Cancellation emails now correctly identify staff members, and the dashboard's Upcoming list shows the service name and links straight to the appointment.

Nutrition goals save reliably — The nutrition goal editor no longer appears blank on desktop, so saving a client's plan won't accidentally erase an existing goal.

✨ New

Buy session-bundle packages right in the shop — Clients can now purchase one-time session-credit packages alongside products and lab panels, all in one consistent shop grid with images. Staff can grant, view, and revoke packages directly from a client's profile.

Pause and resume your own membership — Clients can pause or resume their membership from the app, and clinics get four separate controls (upgrade, downgrade, pause, resume) to decide exactly what self-service is allowed.

Log meals by typing or talking — The nutrition diary now has a "Describe" option, so a meal can be entered by text or voice instead of only a photo.

Set daily nutrition goals for clients — Staff can now set calorie, protein, carb, fat, and water targets right on a client's profile.

Atlas can explain intake form requirements — Ask Atlas what's required on a form, and it can now read the form's structure to answer.

View and save remittance statements as a PDF — Billers can now open a clean, printable statement for any remittance, including claims your clinic submitted directly through Ready Practice.

One clinic, one custom booking domain — Set a custom domain once for your clinic, and it now serves all of your booking pages — with a directory at the root so visitors can pick the right one.

⚡ Improved

Appointment confirmations and reschedules work as expected — Clients can now confirm their own appointments, and rescheduling sends the proper notification instead of going silent.

Reminders are more reliable — Appointment reminders retry after a temporary send failure instead of disappearing, and no longer go out for cancelled sessions or to the wrong recipients.

Claims and billing details are clearer — The Claims tab now shows a pipeline of where each claim stands (awaiting payer, accepted, paid), and per-code billed/allowed/paid detail is visible on both claims and remittances.

Drag-and-drop to reorder your services — Reordering services in the marketplace now also updates the order clients see when booking.

Lab uploads now capture more — Body composition, VO2max, and RMR reports are now extracted automatically instead of requiring manual entry.

Communication preferences moved into Preferences — Marketing email and SMS toggles now live directly on the main Preferences screen, no extra tap required.

✨ New

Atlas can set up more of your practice for you — ask Atlas to update your org profile, add a location, set working hours, turn on branding, configure onboarding, or create an intake form or booking link — no digging through Settings required.

Atlas now answers "how do I…" questions — Atlas can search Ready Practice's help documentation, so it can walk you through a task, not just perform it.

AI-drafted appeal letters for denied claims — from the denials worklist, one click now drafts a payer-ready reconsideration letter using the claim, the denial reason, and the client's clinical notes.

Self-serve business texting setup — register your clinic for compliant SMS messaging (A2P 10DLC) right from Settings, with auto-generated, carrier-compliant Privacy Policy and Terms pages and a clear breakdown of registration and per-message costs.

Custom domains for booking pages — point your own domain at your Ready Practice booking page.

⚡ Improved

Insurance coverage is visible everywhere you need it — coverage and copay details now show on the Insurance card, at booking, on the calendar, and at check-in, and refresh automatically overnight and when appointments are booked — so front desk staff rarely have to click "check now."

A clearer billing page — the Billing tab now opens to a compact KPI strip and tabs organized by task (Bill & Collect, Claims, Transactions), plus new badges that flag claims at risk of missing their filing deadline.

Faster, more reliable checkout options — charge a client's account balance directly from the Charge Client window, now with a searchable product and billing-code catalog.

Superbills now save automatically to the client's Documents when issued, so both your team and the client always have a copy on hand.

Branded, clearer appointment emails — confirmation, reminder, and cancellation emails now carry your clinic's branding and speak directly to whoever's reading them (client or provider), and your clinic's name now shows correctly as the sender.

Faster public booking pages — appointment time slots load without the delay some visitors were seeing.

AI usage is easier to understand — your usage summary now breaks down AI costs by category (Atlas, Scribe, Website AI, and more) instead of one combined number.

What's New — Week of August 10

Link appointments to a client's care program — Staff can now connect an existing appointment to one of a client's active programs right from the appointment details, keeping scheduling and care plans in sync.

Guests get a branded invite when they're added to a booking — When a client adds a guest to an appointment, that guest now receives an email from your clinic with the visit details and a calendar invite (.ics) they can add to their own calendar.

Scan-to-check-in for members and walk-ins — Members can check in for appointments or open sessions by scanning a QR code, which opens the Ready Practice app directly. Walk-in guests get their own check-in page, and you can customize the welcome message and what it shows.

Message groups of clients at once with Chat Blast — Send one message to every client who matches conditions you set — like membership type, status, payer, or location — instead of messaging people one at a time. Review the full recipient list before you send.

Bring your data over with a new import tool — Drop in an export from your previous system and map each column to the right field yourself, covering clients, diagnoses, visit history, balances, and past claims. Imports can be undone afterward if something looks off.

Client account balances — Post a charge to a client's account and settle it later by card on file, invoice, or a manual method like cash or check, with a note kept on the balance.

⚡ Improved

More billing flexibility, plus a clearer view of what needs attention — Choose how each visit is billed — insurance, courtesy, or time-of-service — set a specific cash rate per billing code, search ICD-10 codes by keyword, and see prior visit codes right in the claim builder. A new billing view flags stale claims and shows outstanding balances by age.

Booked program activities now look like booked visits — When a program activity is fulfilled by booking and attending a clinic service, it now shows as a booked visit with a progress bar toward the target number of visits, instead of a generic checklist item.

Staff reschedules now show up in the app right away — When your team moves an appointment to a new time, the client's app updates immediately instead of showing the old time until the next sync.

Atlas now knows what Ready Practice can do — Ask Atlas whether the platform supports something, like insurance billing, and it now answers correctly based on what's actually shipped.

What's New — Week of August 3

✨ New

Book a full course of care in one step — Front desk can now book a whole series of recurring visits at once. Ready Practice proposes an evenly spaced schedule, flags any conflicts, and can suggest a different available provider at the same time slot instead of skipping a visit.

Set custom pricing per staff member — In service settings, you can now assign a different price to each provider offering a service, pulled from your Stripe price list. Clients are automatically charged the right staff-specific price.

Stale insurance claims flagged for you — Claims that have gone quiet — no response in 7+ days, or no payment confirmation in 30+ days — now show up flagged on your billing page.

⚡ Improved

See every price option, not just the default — Price pickers throughout the app now show all Stripe price variants tied to a product.

Number fields behave correctly everywhere — You can now clear the last digit in any number field without it snapping back unexpectedly.

Smoother availability setup — Set per-service hours right from Assigned Services, and see location and service labels at a glance in your day previews. Service-specific hours also no longer incorrectly fall back to general hours.

More reliable booking flow — Switching locations while booking no longer leaves a stale, mismatched service selected, and checking availability across multiple locations no longer errors out.

Faster staff messaging inbox — The Messages inbox now loads and updates smoothly, even for large clinics with hundreds of team members.

Calendar invites stay in sync — Rescheduling or editing an appointment now correctly updates the client's synced calendar event instead of appearing unchanged.

Fewer duplicate reminder emails — Clients booking a series of visits that share a required form now get one reminder, not one per visit.

Simpler invite emails — Client invite emails no longer include a confusing clinic-code step — clients just pick their provider from the list already shown to them.

Knowledge Base articles are now editable — Update any Knowledge Base item's content and audience (Staff, Clients, or Both) after it's created, no need to delete and start over.

Cardio session summaries — Completed walks, runs, rides, and hikes now get a real summary screen with duration, distance, calories, and heart rate.

Smarter website previews — Your website builder preview now pulls in your clinic's real name, logo, services, staff, and locations — and you can add your client-portal login link and social links right from Site Settings.

Downloadable superbill PDFs — Download a superbill PDF straight from a claim, and turn on auto-generate for new superbills in Settings.

Real call center numbers — The Call Center Overview now shows real KPIs (total calls, bookings, escalation rate, handle time), and Call History now shows caller ID with date and time.

⚡ Improved

More flexible rescheduling — You can now change the service when rescheduling an appointment, and the change is recorded in the activity log.

Metrics that highlight what matters — The metrics list now includes a quick trend sparkline for each value, with anything out-of-range surfaced at the top.

Safer claim submissions — Claims are now checked for a valid service date before they're sent, and resubmit dates can be edited.

What's New — Week of July 6

✨ New

Faster, guided insurance-card capture — Add a policy by capturing the front and back with your webcam or phone; Ready Practice pulls the policy number and effective date automatically.

Eligibility checks happen automatically — Save a client's insurance details and Ready Practice checks their coverage right away, so you don't have to trigger it separately.

Smarter claims workflow — Before you submit a claim, Atlas flags risky or missing details. Once submitted, you can download the CMS-1500 form and track payer status right from the claim.

Electronic remittance enrollment — Enroll for ERA per payer directly from Settings → Insurance & Billing, so remittance advice starts flowing in automatically.

Billing guidance up front — Booking and appointment screens now show a clear "what to collect" line based on the client's actual coverage.

⚡ Improved

Better wearable data for Oura users — Resting heart rate and HRV from Oura now show up in your metric trends, not just your sleep summary.
